The ‘Gun Running’ Reluctant Nairobian

He may not be a Nairobian, he may not have committed the alleged gun running business (or whichever crime it is) in Nairobi, but damn, the guy is being held and tried in Nairobi. Narok businessman Ismael Munir’s armory issues seems to be getting all fired up by the minute.

After starring the villain in Kenya’s very first real live ‘unprecedented’ armory bust, Munir had the sense to get the right lawyers who procured his freedom on bail. A chirstmas holiday that looked promising, at least for the very fact that it would be spent out of jail, turned nightmarish when the State overtured the Subornidate Court’s decision and ordered his re-arrest.

Then when that setback seemed overturned and he was to be released on bond again, it turns out that his dear snitch struck again. This time 31 211 bullets were the end result of the Kenyan police attempts at directing a hollywood shoot.

Seems our reluctant Nairobian shall be with us for some length of time.

But then, what the hell were the cops on tv and newspaper photos doing handling the bullets with their un-gloved hands?
