Moments after the news of the collapse of Mcdonald Mariga’s move to Manchester City hit the internets, the latest reports now reaching theNairobian is that the Kenyan mid-fielder is set to join Inter Milan. Given that the work permit laws in Italy are not as strict as the English ones and that he is already playing in Italy, any such move is likely as there shall be no work permit stumbling block.

Such a move would leave Mourinho with the last laugh as his interest in the Kenyan midfielder had been reported and Manchester City all but seemed to have beaten him to the punch.

All in all, monetary considerations aside, such a move would be better for Mariga as we may get to see one of our very own in the Champions League.
